In an animal shelter for rescued animals, there is a dog named Speck. When someone passes by his kennel, he offers his hand to greet them.
Speck seems very friendly and sweet – when he sees someone approaching his kennel, he pushes his face immediately between the metal bars and reaches his paw as if he wants a handshake.
According to Desiray Miracle-Wilder, all he wants is love from people, and whenever someone from the shelter finishes cleaning and walks off, the pup seems sad.
Bullock County Humane Society is a home for rescued dogs and cats in Alabama. The place where Speck resides unnoticed is a small kennel for almost two years, waiting for a family to adopt him.
Based on his appearance and scars as a stray dog, you would not expect him to be as sweet as he is today. Surprisingly, Speck bonds with other dogs and cats in the shelter.
However, he wants to bond with people and feel loved by them. Whenever he sees someone sitting beside him, he will lie to that person. He even holds their hands and rolls over when someone scratches his belly.
Speck’s excellent behavior captured the hearts of many when Desiray herself posted a video on her social media account. This is her way of wanting to help Speck find a family and home.
Unexpectedly, the video went viral, and she received lots of messages from people touched by the friendly dog. Most of them wanted to adopt Speck. Through the heartwarming behavior of Speck shown in the video, he finally finds a home on a farm in upstate New York with his new dad, Mike.
