Who says that dogs and cats really are not similar? Aside from their paws, tails, and furry coats, they also share a common love for laser lights.
At least that’s what this German Shepherd named Milo proved in this video. He may be a dog but a moving laser light attracted him just like it did cats.
We’re not so sure about what makes this attractive to both canines and felines, but their rapt attention and eager catching actions couldn’t deny their love for it.
Was it the laser lights round and bright features? Was it the movement, or was it something else?
Whatever it was, Milo sure was curious about it. He desperately waited and jumped to catch it, but the quick laser lights were too fast for him.
Unknown to him, one of his parents controlled the laser’s movement in their hands, and just moved it around for Milo to get.
The puppy didn’t know any better, but he applied his hunting and stealth tricks all the same. He wondered what it was like to catch the light and if there was some sort of magical being in it.
We hope an older dog tells him that he wouldn’t feel a thing even if he captures that light. It’s not something that he could bite, hug, or toss, but it definitely could excite him.
Sometimes we wonder if dogs should stay innocent and ignorant of things like this. After all, we’re not in the position to do anything about it, so let’s leave it that way.
The important thing was, Milo had fun, and that’s something we could never replace with knowledge.
His time with those moving laser lights and his efforts to capture them will forever be an experience he’d treasure.
Here’s to more adventures that make you happy in the future, Milo. Never tire of seeking life’s simple joys. Cheers!
