In May, a dog named Max went missing in San Antonio, Texas. Understandably, his family was terrified they’d never see him again. But that was until the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office got a call about a pooch found roaming around a local neighborhood.
Deputy Perez, the officer who received the call, remembered a missing dog flyer about Max. When he arrived at the place where the pooch was, it was indeed Max! Thus, the officer called the family immediately to confirm their dog’s identity. And soon, the family got reunited with their beloved dog.
Nobody knows how the dog survived by himself, but his family was just so thrilled to have him back. Max’s two human sisters were very thankful for the reunion, and one of them couldn’t even stop crying tears of joy when he got reunited with them.
Now, little Max is safe back home, all thanks to Deputy Perez and the concerned citizen who called him regarding the dog.
Dogs are really part of our family, so when they go missing, it is heart-wrenching. The sheriff’s office posted Max’s sweet reunion with his family on Facebook, and it immediately went viral.
According to one, commentator seeing the faces of the little girls is priceless. Indeed, the story made a significant impact on the hearts of people.
The story touched many hearts. The little girls were happy to have their fur friend back — and it was thanks to a kind officer. A commentator even said that they need to see more such stories about police officers doing good.
As for the sheriff’s office, they were just as happy to witness the reunion — and clearly, Max was ecstatic as well. Now, the pooch no longer has to worry about his food or about sleeping on the cold streets all alone.
