Most people do not realize that Pit Bulls are actually lovely dogs. These dogs just want attention from humans. These dogs also only want to give and receive affection.
A Pit Bull named Pork Roll was acquired from a Virginia breeder. However, after approximately two years, the people who purchased Pork Roll decided to return him because he was too big. Pork Roll was an enormous dog, and his family believed he had multiple health problems.
Pork Roll ended up at the South Of The Bully agency, which specializes in Pit Bulls. The workers and volunteers at the animal shelter mistook Pork Roll for a pot-bellied pig because of his extreme obesity. With that, Pork Roll needed to be fostered and lose weight before he would be put up for adoption.
Eventually, Pork Roll shed sufficient weight and became healthy enough to be adopted.
A couple wanted to get a third dog for their home. When they saw a photograph of Pork Roll, they believed he would fit in perfectly with the entire family, including their other pets.
When he was first welcomed into his new home, Pork Roll was rather timid, and he was also wary around men. However, after a few months, Pork Roll began to understand that he is now a member of a loving family.
Pork Roll grew inseparable from his new father and cried if his father left his side, even for just a moment.
The dog also got along well with his new siblings, who were rescue canines named Dime and Athena. When Athena died, Pork Roll and Dime were devastated, but they have since become closer.
Way to go, Pork Roll! Congratulations on finding the best family!
