Regardless of their age, dogs can be like children. Dogs and kids find excitement in the smallest of things. And this is possibly one of the characteristics of dogs that makes them excellent pets. Their childlike disposition makes them easy to please, and they are eager to make their owners happy.
A Great Dane named Kernel is definitely just like a kid. Kernel’s favorite person is a 92-year-old woman whom he visits whenever he has the opportunity. And just like kids who adore their grandparents, each time Kernel is told that he will be visiting his Great Nana, Kernel becomes quite excited. The dog loves visiting his Grandma because he receives treats similar to those a grandchild would receive from a grandma.
Alyssa Berkovitz, the mother and owner of Kernel, frequently visits her grandma. She always brings Kernel, and Alyssa’s grandmother fell in love with the large dog almost immediately.
Both Kernel and Alyssa’s grandmother love him, and they enjoy each other’s companionship. Alyssa stated that her grandmother will become more ecstatic and energetic when Kernel visits.
Alyssa’s grandmother is a lot more endearing for Kernel than she does. Alyssa is very pleased that her grandmother and her dog love each other. It makes her glad to see them both pleased simply by being together. Alyssa’s two greatest loves in life are Kernel and her grandmother, and nothing makes her happier than observing them enjoying each other’s company.
Alyssa’s grandmother would frequently carry snacks for Kernel and she would give these to the dog.
When Alyssa’s grandma first met Kernel, he was an approximately three-month-old puppy. Typically, the Grandma prefers small, fluffy dogs. However, Kernel is different since he charmed his way to Grandma’s heart.
It didn’t take long for Kernel to become a large Great Dane. However, Alyssa’s grandmother could not help but love Kernel despite his size.
Kernel is very kind to his Great Nana, and he is also aware of her advanced age. When Nana is in bed, Kernel spends time with her by keeping watch over her. He would rest his large head at the foot of the bed and simply spend time there.
