Time and time again, it has always been proven that the stereotype wherein dogs and cats can’t get along well is simply not true. These animals may be of different species and may have different ways of communicating, but with a little time and patience, they can become the best of friends. One dog and cat have proven this in an adorable video.
Lisa Olsen-Plummer, a huge animal lover, owns a cat named Jasper. Later on, she decided to bring home a sweet Beagle which she named Bo. Although at first, she was confident that the two animals would get along well, their friendship didn’t go the way Lisa expected.
Bo was timid whenever he was near a cat. As for Jasper, he wasn’t at all pleased with having Bo as the new addition to the family. Jasper was always careful of being next to Bo and would always watch him from a distance.
One day, Lisa saw something that really surprised her.
Jasper suddenly approached Bo and placed his arm around the pooch. Lisa couldn’t believe her eyes! It was almost like the cat was telling Bo that everything was going to be okay and that they can play now. It was the sweetest thing Lisa has ever seen and it was also where Bo learned how to hug.
From then on, they regularly bonded and eventually became best friends. They actually acted more like siblings that couldn’t get enough of one another even though they were two different types of animals.
Lisa loves capturing the sweet moments between the two. Along with a photo, she was able to record a video of the two birdwatching one day. In the cute video, you can see Bo jump on the sofa. After sitting down next to Jasper, this time, he is the one who gently places his arm around the cat as they both watch the birds behind the window.
What an adorable pair, aren’t they? Because of their special bond, Lisa just can’t imagine her home without them.
