Most dogs get their human parents’ attention by snuggling with them or owning their beds at night, but not Chika, the Fox family’s dog. This cute Labrador mix has a different idea about getting Angelia Fox’s (her owner) attention. She thinks playing with the doorbell at night is the best way to wake the Fox family up.
It was a peaceful night at Fox’s home when a Labrador suddenly appeared in their front yard. As she reached the front door, the dog sniffed through the tiny camera where the doorbell was. It turned out it was Chika, who was out the whole night.
Chika tinkered with the doorbell. Unfortunately, her plan only left her locked out of the house. In her effort to get back in, the dog repeatedly rang the doorbell, causing her owners to wake up at two in the morning.
Chika accidentally locked herself out of the house while the whole family was asleep. Unfortunately, no one noticed she was missing. The good thing is that Chika was determined to return to her warm bed.
It turned out that Chika rang the doorbell with her tiny nose in the camera. After hearing the bell chiming, she stepped back, seemingly waiting for someone to let her in. Sadly, a few minutes passed, and nobody opened the door. But this didn’t stop Chika from trying.
This time, she went back and rang the bell using her paws. Afterward, Chika waited for her family to let her in.
While staying outside, Chika remembered her job. She watched for any disturbances in the neighborhood that night and became a reliable house guard.
Aside from being determined, Chika is also disciplined. The dog hit the doorbell instead of barking her way to get noticed. There would be less noise and less chance to disturb their peacefully sleeping neighbors. Judging from her actions, Chika was very considerate of her human family.
It is a call for everyone to double-check their dogs before locking the door at night. Always keep pets warm and safe, especially during bedtime.
