Funny Retriever Hides In An Unusual Spot, And His Hilarious Safe Place Will Convince You That Dogs Are Intelligent And Practical Indeed

Funny Retriever Hides In An Unusual Spot, And His Hilarious Safe Place Will Convince You That Dogs Are Intelligent And Practical Indeed

Joseph McNair March 31, 2022

Dogs have heightened senses, so it’s natural for them to be aware of something that’s about to happen way before we could.

This Yellow Retriever named Elvis let his instincts guide him when he heard a crack of thunder.

Some canines would have hidden under a bed or in a closet, but Elvis did something much funnier. He hid UNDER a car!

It’s pretty hilarious to see such a big dog squeeze himself under there, but it was the perfect spot for him since he was protected from the thunder.

Elvis’s mom called for him to come out from under the car. It’s a valid call because if someone decides to take the car out for a spin and the dog was under it, things could end in disaster.

However, Elvis wouldn’t budge. He didn’t want to come out, so he sat there and chilled, paws hanging out from where he perched.

It’s as if he believed the car could protect him from the loudest of thunders and even those unheard ones that would fall on his head any second now.

Despite his mom’s calls, there was no way Elvis was gonna willingly get out of his safe place. To assure mom he’s just fine where he was, he gave her a cheeky smile and wagged his tail.

Pretty soon, a boom of thunder hit, and Elvis’s mom realized her dog had no intention of leaving. Most dogs would’ve been terrified from this big thunder that happened right above them, but not Elvis.

That crack of thunder must have sounded like cannon blasts to this dog’s ears, but he stayed where he knew he’d be safe – under a car.

What a funny and practical pup! This dog owner appreciated her furry pet’s intelligence and sense of safety in times of danger. Thanks for being an amazing dog, Elvis!
