During Her Rescue, A Golden Retriever Became So Terrified That She Covered Her Eyes

After being abandoned, a Golden Retriever wandered the streets all alone. Locals attempted to communicate with the dog, but she appeared to be afraid of humans. Despite this fear, the locals in the area were able to feed and satisfy the tiny fellow’s thirst and hunger.

People had no choice but to call rescuers Eldad Hagar and Lisa Arturo from Hope for Paws, an animal rescue group since it looked impossible to go near the dog.

The team rushed to find the frightened Golden Retriever, and they were successfully able to spot it. When the dog noticed the rescuers, she dashed back to her hiding place and slid beneath a massive metal shipping container. Eldad and Lisa now had a difficult time finding her again – it took them five tries to discover where she was.

When the two came across the unfortunate stray, they crept behind the shipping container and waited for her to allow them to carry her out. They got a snare around the dog’s neck and safely pulled her out of her hiding location after a few minutes.

The poor dog became so agitated that she hid her eyes with her paws. Everyone at the scene became tearful after witnessing the poor Golden Retriever’s heartbreaking reaction.

As a result, Eldad calmed her by patting her on the head. He also spoke softly to her, telling her that they would look after her and that she would be okay. She instantly appeared comfortable, as though she had clearly understood what he was trying to express.

Clarabelle was the name given to her by the rescue team, and she appeared pleased with it, as seen during their cheery visit to the veterinarian. She owed Eldad and Lisa a debt of gratitude for rescuing her from her dark situation.

Clarabelle is currently looking for her own foster home.
