This Puppy Almost Gave Up On Life, But When He Felt A Gentle Hand Touching Him, He Found A New Ray Of Hope

Joseph McNair April 28, 2022

Floquinho was once a beloved puppy of his family. But one day, he ended up all by himself. He didn’t have anyone beside him and he no longer had a home. He was dumped on the streets and left alone to die.

The poor puppy struggled to survive. He had no idea how difficult a street life was until he experienced it himself. He started rummaging the trash for food and he endured extreme cold at night. His previous life was gone and what he had after wasn’t something he could even call one.

After losing his home, Floquinho’s life was put at great risk. And it didn’t take very long until he got into a nasty accident. He suffered excruciating pain and there was nothing he could have done to ease his discomfort. He just cried and screamed while he waited for help.

Floquinho tried so hard to get people to notice him. Sadly, no one cared enough to even check on him. He’s had enough, he realized, so he just lay on the ground and waited for his moment to die.

The puppy had given up on life that when rescuers came, he didn’t immediately recognize they were to help. He just lay completely still and stared at them. But when he felt a gentle hand’s touch on his body, his eyes lit up. He saw a new ray of hope and did a little tail wag.

Once the X-ray results were out, it was determined that Floquinho had a severely broken leg and an injured spine. Every little movement he made left him in agony that he could not even raise his head. He couldn’t eat or use the bathroom by himself. He required special care in order for him to get by.

Floquinho was in serious condition but he got all the help he needed so he continued to fight for his life and freedom. Within two weeks, he was able to hold his head up high. And once he got his improvised wheelchair, he started to walk again until he no longer needed it.

He wanted to walk so bad that he cried when he fell to the ground over and over again. But because he worked so hard, his efforts paid off. Floquinho got back on his feet and started a new life.
