Woman Adopts A Funny Dog That Brought Her Healing And Happiness

Woman Adopts A Funny Dog That Brought Her Healing And Happiness

Joseph McNair December 26, 2022

Losing a dog is agonizing. It is quite similar to losing a human family member. Sadly, the majority of dog owners will experience this loss, as dogs have a far shorter lifespan than humans.

A woman named Greta suffered a tragic loss when her dog passed away unexpectedly. It was an extremely horrible experience, and she was warned against adopting another dog immediately. But Greta decided not to wait any longer after learning about a rescue dog named Duncan.

Greta claimed that something about Duncan’s eyes prompted her to want to adopt him. Before being adopted by Greta, Duncan lived in an animal shelter operated by animal control. Duncan disliked other canines and was a Pit Bull, which increased the likelihood that he would be euthanized.

The woman was informed by the animal shelter that Duncan had a previous owner who was not very pleasant to the animal. Duncan was aggressive toward other canines, but he enjoyed meeting new people. Also, he does many amusingly absurd things that make Greta giggle.

Greta discovered that Duncan’s attitude toward water is peculiar. Although he enjoyed water from a fountain, hose, or sprinkler, he really detested swimming. He even disliked entering the bathtub when it was time for his bath.

Duncan enjoys cats which is a total contrast to his attitude towards other dogs. The dog was quite saddened and depressed when Greta’s elderly cat passed away. He spent days searching for his feline companion, prompting Greta to adopt a cat for Duncan.

Greta soon adopted a kitten named Coco Bubbles. Duncan adores his new cat sibling and plays with her with care. Since Greta brought Coco home, Duncan and Coco have become close buddies.

The fur parent feels incredibly fortunate to have adopted Duncan as he has brought her healing from losing her pet and happiness because of his crazy antics.
