Lebowski is a 4-year-old Pitbull that was adopted by Jennifer Geiger through Priceless Pet Rescue. He was just a young puppy when he was dropped at the shelter. But now, he’s a massive dog weighing 99 pounds with a loving family beside him.
The rescue dog absolutely loves his family. But Scarlett, Jennifer’s daughter, is his favorite. From the moment they met, they had an instant connection.
Scarlett was 4 years old while Lebowski was only 10 weeks when they met. The little girl was automatically smitten with the pup’s adorable face. Scarlett adored everything about Lebowski.
As Lebowski grew older and bigger, he took his cues from his sister. He always followed her everywhere and copied everything she did. He watched her do her homework, played dress-up, and even attended tea parties with her.
The huge dog loves spending time with her little human. But if there’s something he enjoys the most, it’s naptime. From the very first day, Lebowski started to curl up and nap with Scarlett. Both have fallen asleep on their couch together so many times.
Jennifer recalls that when Lebowski was 8 months old, he would go missing at night. She’d wake up during the wee hours, and the puppy was not in his bed. It turns out, the pup was inside Scarlett’s room, snoozing under her bed.
The Geigers are delighted with how bonded Scarlett and Lebowski are. But they were more surprised the first time they saw the pup sleeping in bed beside their daughter. And that has been the routine ever since.
Scarlett, now 8, and Lebowski, 4, still sleep together in bed to this day. And even during their naptimes midday, they share the couch. Wherever they are in the house, when they sleep, they do it together.
Lebowski is a sweet pup who always looks after her little girl. Similarly, Scarlett loves her massive dog unconditionally.
