A Very Awkward Dog Met A Cat That Soon Became His Best Friend In The Entire World

A Very Awkward Dog Met A Cat That Soon Became His Best Friend In The Entire World

Joseph McNair January 9, 2023

People know that dogs are full of energy and are very friendly. However, these animals can also experience social anxiety and behave uncomfortably around people. Having another animal as a friend can make them feel less anxious.

Robby is a little dog that struggles to make friends. He is really awkward, but his owners still adore him. They were aware that as long as Robby’s mind is busy, he does not feel uneasy.

Robby’s parents took in a cat named Carl in an effort to help ease his anxieties. Two weeks of quarantine prevented him from meeting the cat on the first day of fostering. So Robby decided to wait outside the cat’s room. Clearly, he was eager to make a new friend.

After the quarantine ended, Carl was permitted to leave his room. He approached Robby instantly and greeted him. The dog then began to lick Carl, which marked the beginning of their commitment to one another.

The two animals really got along so well that the owners made the decision to adopt Carl permanently. They wanted to observe Robby and Carl’s friendship develop and flourish. They have not been disappointed by what they have seen so far.

Whenever Robby gets nervous, he looks for his friend. He would just cuddle with Carl. When his owners are not around, the dog no longer has to search for them or feel uneasy.

As might be expected of best friends, Carl and Robby always do activities together. They frequently spend hours together playing. The two pets also began to act like each another.

It’s gratifying to see how companionship has helped a strange and awkward dog feel more at ease with himself. The owners did well by deciding to adopt Carl permanently. Robby has no need for any other companions besides the cat.
