Doberman Is Called The Horse Whisperer Because Of His Friendship With A Horse

Joseph McNair February 21, 2022

Seeing animals from different species bond is always amazing.

We often see videos of dogs becoming friends with cats but how about a dog that bonded and became best friends with a horse? A Doberman named Boss did just that and people who know him even call him the horse whisperer.

We all know that Dobermans are working dogs that can be a little intimidating. However, despite their appearance, Dobermans do have a soft side to them and Boss proves this by becoming best friends with a horse named Contino.

Boss and Contino both live on a ranch in Lima, Peru. Boss grew up surrounded by farm animals and he’s often seen mingling with the horses. However, his favorite is Contino. Just looking at pictures of Boss and Contino together shows their unusual bond and friendship.

Boss and Contino’s owner, Leslie, was raised around dogs and horses but she’s never really seen a bond between a horse and a dog as close as Boss and Contino. She realized just how special Boss and Contino’s friendship is and decided to share it with the world.

Everyone who saw the photos and video of Boss and Contino together was just as amazed as Leslie. It’s truly heartwarming to see such pure friendship between the two animals. They showed the world that dogs and horses can become best friends.

Contino would even let Boss ride on his back from time to time and Boss would just sit there enjoying it. When Boss and Contino are not playing out in the field, they would spend time just hanging out and snuggling. It’s adorable to see just how close these two animals are.

Leslie stated that Boss and his other Doberman siblings were always around horses as soon as they were allowed to go out. Although all her dogs are used to the horses, it was Boss who stood out the most. Here’s an adorable video featuring Boss and Contino’s friendship.
