Puppies will always appreciate tokens and actions of love. Their innocent nature and grateful little hearts just couldn’t hold their thankfulness in.
This corgi named Tofu is one of those we mentioned. She’s a rescue pet, so we have no doubt that she’s uber thankful for the second life she now enjoys.
We couldn’t imagine the horrors she’s been through, so we’re thankful that events led Tofu to get in contact with her brand new family.
At first, Tofu found it hard to adjust to her new life. As a rescue, she was more inclined to think and behave like everyone was out to get her.
Trust could be built, but it’s a long and arduous process. Fortunately, this corgi’s loving family was patient and understanding, so Tofu gradually opened up to them.
It was quite a joyous occasion for the family when the pet finally let them in, and they slowly introduced the pet to the simple joys of life.
Heavenly massages
One of them was getting belly rubs. Tofu discovered immediately that those belly massages were heavenly, and that she could access them on demand.
All Tofu would do was lay down in front of mom, and she’d go ahead and scratch her belly. This little ritual soon became the corgi’s favorite.
When mom stops scratching, Tofu would make a pawing action and mom would resume her heavenly rubs. This corgi probably thought that this life’s so different from her previous one.
Yes, Tofu, you’re in it for the good times. Life has dealt you a tough deck of cards, but you were able to make the most out of it. You’re made of warrior material, and you deserve your life now.
