Head-Turner Afghan Hound From Massachusetts Entertains The Internet With His Long Locks

Roman, a five-year-old Afghan Hound from Massachusetts, took the digital world by storm because of a funny viral video featuring his long, beautiful locks.
The video shows a mysterious person whose back is facing the camera. The video focused on the subject’s long, dark, beautiful locks.
The camera panned around, revealing the owner of the enviable hair. It turned out that the subject wasn’t a human but the Afghan Hound, Roman! The incredibly deceiving and hilarious video earned 450,000 views.

Roman’s video fooled us all, but everyone would agree that this canine’s long hair is gorgeous and to die for – and the comments section proves it.
People asked about Roman’s hair care regimen. Others quipped that Roman could pass off as Samara from The Ring, a well-known horror film, because of his thick and dark mane.

On the other hand, another commenter dubbed Roman ‘Sarah Jessica Barker’ after the Hollywood actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who was famous for her well-maintained locks.

Afghan Hounds are known for their elegant stance and, of course, their long, thick, and shiny coats. While their mane is aesthetically pleasing, its primary function is more practical because it protects them from the cold weather in mountainous regions where they originated.
Unsurprisingly, Afghan Hounds require a lot of grooming. It is necessary to brush the hair several hours weekly to keep it free of tangles and clumps and remove debris. Keeping an Afghan Hound’s coat clean and mat-free is essential. No dog wants to have painful, matted hair!
Thankfully, Roman’s well-maintained and perfect hair is enough proof that his owners know his needs and that he is well-loved – and that’s what truly matters! We hope to see more of Roman’s funny hairstyle antics in the future!
