Not all heroes wear capes – some wear regular shirts and pants, clutching a beer. This is the amusing story of Mitchel Craddock’s bachelor’s party.
Little did Mitchel and his groomsmen know, their planned adventure to a Tennessee cabin for some 4-wheeling was about to veer off course, injecting an unexpected element into their bachelor’s party.
On their first day in the cabin, they were cooking some breakfast—bacon, to be exact—when they noticed a dog sitting outside the door. The bacon smell probably lured the curious canine to the cabin.
They noticed that the dog was friendly, and they named her Annie. She did not have a collar, and no one lived nearby, so Mitchel and his buddies realized that Annie needed help. They provided Annie with food and water, which she immediately consumed without hesitation.
While the groom and his friends were lounging outside, they noticed a spot near the cabin where Annie was constantly checking out. Every time somebody came near that area, Annie would go there and seemingly protect the area before returning to Mitchel and his friends.
As they followed Annie’s protective behavior, they stumbled upon a hidden den. Inside were seven adorable puppies, a testament to the unbreakable bond between a mother and her children.
Mitchel and his buddies took the puppies and fed them, as they were now aware that they needed rescuing. They brought them to their cabin to get cleaned up and then off to the veterinarian to ensure they were okay and did not need medical attention.
Driven by a selfless spirit, Mitchel and his groomsmen took Annie and the seven puppies back to Michigan. Their determination and compassion led them to find forever homes for these innocent creatures. Thanks to their unwavering efforts, these pups and their mother will now be cared for.
