Man Lifts Pet Labrador’s Spirits By Wearing an E-Collar

Man Lifts Pet Labrador’s Spirits By Wearing an E-Collar

Man Lifts Pet Labrador’s Spirits By Wearing an E-CollarAlex, and Alex’s father. When Alex first decided to bring Ollie home, his father was the first to oppose it. However, Alex still started taking care of the dog despite the disapproval. Time passed, and the day came when Ollie had to go through surgery.
Alex said many people fell in love with Ollie after seeing him in Tiktok. As a TikTok star, Ollie racked up 2.8 million followers in just a year. In his Tiktok channel, he became known as ‘Booty Balance King.’ He also does various activities such as choosing from a jar, baking, engaging with his owners, and continuing to live his best puppy life.

Using the collar for ten days after the surgery to facilitate rehabilitation, Ollie affectionately earned the nickname “lampshade boy.” On the other hand, the dog did not appear enthusiastic about it. With the cone on, Ollie was unhappy. Everyone could see that he was moping around and feeling sorry for himself. The puppy that had brought so much joy to everyone around him was now feeling depressed.
That is until Alex’s dad put a collar on himself to support Ollie. Expectedly, Ollie didn’t like wearing the e-collar. Alex would always find him sitting in a corner, looking sad and helpless. As much as Alex wants to take the ‘cone of shame’ off Ollie, he can’t do it because it’s for his own good.

One day, while Ollie was still in recovery, Alex saw his dad wearing the same e-collar his dog had. He caught his dad and Ollie relaxing on their couch as if consoling one another. When Alex saw Ollie and her father, she noticed them reclining on the sofa, her father holding a mug of tea, the pup putting his head on the father’s knee, and both wearing cones, one white and the other pink.

In a video that has since gone viral, the completely supportive dad proudly wears the e-collar. He went through the family’s storage and put on another cone to make the dog feel less lonely during his ordeal.

It shows that sometimes, the people who didn’t want a dog in the first place can be the ones who love them the most.
