Pit Bull That Was Seen As Aggressive Was Taken In As A Foster And Ended Up Becoming A Devoted Mother To The Foster Puppies

Pit Bull That Was Seen As Aggressive Was Taken In As A Foster And Ended Up Becoming A Devoted Mother To The Foster Puppies

No matter their age, dogs will always have a zest for life. However, this could be physically demanding for senior canines. They may be unable to walk or tolerate lengthy distances if they suffer from conditions such as heart disease or arthritis. Consequently, their limited mobility can be depressing for them.

Cocoa, a 16-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, has always enjoyed spending time in nature. But because of arthritis, walking has become increasingly difficult since she entered her senior years.
Regardless of her age, her love of the outdoors will endure forever. Fortunately, her owners, Tom Antonino, and his wife are aware of this and have dedicated themselves to making her life more tolerable.

Virginia Beach is one of Cocoa’s favorite spots in the world. The family currently resides in Georgia and they frequently visit the beach. So Tom and his wife constructed a mobile dog bed so that they could continue to take Cocoa to his favorite place.

With the mobile bed, Cocoa was able to visit the locations she had always desired without experiencing discomfort or pain. In addition to seeing the parks around their home, they made sure to visit Cocoa’s favorite spot. The adorable dog was delighted.

Cocoa’s mobile bed attracted the attention of other beachgoers. Even a passerby asked Tom about the bed and took a photo of Cocoa before posting it on Facebook.

Immediately thereafter, the photo spread and reached various Internet users. The viral post eventually reached Tom’s brother-in-law, who asked if it was Cocoa in the photo. Tom confirmed that it was indeed their pet.
Since then, people have been in awe of their kind gestures toward their dogs.

Cocoa passed away peacefully shortly after her sudden social media popularity. Undoubtedly, she carried with her the unconditional love that her parents gave her. Her story will hopefully inspire dog lovers to give their pets the life they truly deserve.
