Two Tiny Terriers Scare Off A Giant Bear Sniffing Around Their Territory

Two Tiny Terriers Scare Off A Giant Bear Sniffing Around Their Territory

Joseph McNair March 16, 2023

One sunny afternoon in Pasadena, California, a giant bear was observed sniffing around a home. It was captured by a security camera as the bear strolled about the empty kitchen, ready to strike gold.

The scruffy thief took his time entering the Pasadena home, even stopping to take a drink from a fancy water fountain on the way in. However, as soon as the intruder was seen wandering around in the kitchen, the family’s dogs, Mei Mei and Squirt, sprung to action, barking loudly to scare off the bear. The Terriers have shown courage and determination in their chase of the grumpy trespasser.

While their owner was resting, the two terriers were heard barking incessantly and sprinting around the property to chase the uninvited intruder. As shown in the video, the two courageous puppies were successful in scaring the bear away as it fled from the Pasadena residence.

When Deedee Mueller, the homeowner, heard the dogs’ frantic barking, she became alarmed. According to her, Mei Mei was the first to respond and rose to protect their home.

When Deedee went through the CCTV footage, she had a difficult time figuring out what had transpired. Afterward, she watched the entire video, sweating as she saw Mei Mei and Squirt dash over the kitchen tiles, barking ceaselessly until the bear bolted from the scene.

In addition, Mueller reported that she and her husband observed a trail of urine following the incident, demonstrating that the bear fled in fear. As the image went viral, many people were amazed by the bravery of the tiny Terriers, and the footage received a lot of attention.

Mei Mei and Squirt prove that dogs can be heroes in their little ways.

In the video below, you can see Mei-mei and Squirt standing up for their territory with bravery.
