Watch How This Corgi Masterfully Performs Water Sports Activities

Joseph McNair April 21, 2021

We all know that most dogs have no problem with swimming. However, only a few of them genuinely enjoy prolonged activities in the water. Here’s documentation about a brave dog who loves conquering the waves with her exceptional talent in the water.

Moongja is not an ordinary Welsh Corgi. The talented dog has spent most of her life near bodies of water. Her owner engages in water sports as a hobby, so she naturally learned to enjoy being at the beach. Because of this, she has learned to ride in boats and boards.

Moongja can keep her balance while windsurfing. She can maintain her composure on a jetski. She can also enjoy riding wakeboards and more.

When Moongja was two years old, she would ride her owner’s boards. Through two years of accompanying her owner, she became adept at riding. Sometimes her enthusiasm for being in the water surpasses her owner’s. Even when the owner is tired, she would demand to be out on the water.

Usually, after riding the waves, Moongja would cool down and swim in shallow water. If the weather is not good, Moongja has to stay inside the house and deal with boredom with her son named Jangoon. All she could think about is the next time she would play in the water again.

One day Moongja’s owner found a surfing competition for dogs. They dedicated weekends for practicing for the event. Moongja didn’t break a sweat during these practice sessions.

During the practice sessions, Moongja had to wear a life vest made for dogs. She usually doesn’t wear one, but the competition rules require it. The owner is confident that Moongja is a formidable competitor for the event.

The owner can’t wait to see how well Moongja would perform at the upcoming competition. The competition result will likely be posted on SBS TV’s YouTube channel. Find out more about Moongja and her activities by viewing the video below.
