A Group Of Men Stepped In To Help Trapped Pittie And Now She Has A Home That Takes Care Of Her

A Group Of Men Stepped In To Help Trapped Pittie And Now She Has A Home That Takes Care Of Her

Joseph McNair April 27, 2026

Mindy and Danica from the Venus Animal Haven spotted a trapped dog in the canal while they were driving by. Without hesitation, the mother and daughter turned back to rescue the dog. The water was cold, and the dog just stood still, obviously scared. Fortunately, a group of men saw the urgent situation and immediately offered to help.

They took out their belts and connected them to create a makeshift rope to rescue the trapped pittie. One dad carefully climbed down the canal while the others held and secured the other end of the rope. When the dad finally came in contact with the dog, she still did not move and sniffed him.

Then he gently put a leash around her neck, and everybody was just surprised how easy it was. She knew they were there to help her, and she let him put the leash on without any fuss. As soon as the leash was secured, the other gentlemen pulled her out of the canal.

Mindy and Danica expected her to bolt when she was finally safe, but she didn’t. She was a really nice dog,g and since it seemed like she had nowhere to go, they brought her back home. They discovered that she had no microchip, so she probably didn’t have an owner.

But even though she did not have a microchip, they still put up advertisements hoping that someone would come and get her. Sadly, no one came for he,r so Mindy and Danica decided to foster her until they found a home for her. She was dog- and cat-aggressive, so finding a home proved to be a big challenge. Not to mention that Pitbulls have a really bad reputation.

To ease many people’s worries and to prove that she was good with kids, they also uploaded a photo of her with their niece beside her. They also dressed her up in a Wonder Woman costume. Among the many pictures, the Wonder Woman photo really caught Suzanne’s eye.

Suzanne adopted Bella, and there she found a brother in Michael. It was like a match made in heaven. Now, Bella lives a happy and full life with Suzanne and Michael by her side.
