How To Celebrate Your Dogs Birthday

How To Celebrate Your Dogs Birthday

Joseph McNair July 12, 2021

Is it your furry friend’s birthday? They deserve a celebration just like everyone else in the family.

What is the best way to celebrate another year of living with your best friend?

FOOD!!

We all know how much dogs love food, and with a good birthday celebration comes a delicious cake!

While it might not be a cake to share with the whole family, your pup will certainly enjoy it. We’d recommend baking a cake smothered in peanut butter, yum!

In terms of baking the cake, a carrot-style cake will do just fine. Use ingredients like flour, eggs, carrot, oil etc. But make sure you keep it low in sugar. Your pup doesn’t need a sweet treat to celebrate their big day.

If this isn’t something you can’t do, spoil your pup with some delicious treats.

TOYS!

Just like a child’s birthday, your dog will love a new toy (or two!)

If their big tennis ball fans, buy a pack of tennis balls and let them loose in front of your dog, they’ll be so excited they won’t know which one to chase first! If you want to make it special for your human friends too, take your dog to the pet store and let them sniff out their own toy.

A few extra tips:

Take your doggy to the dog park and let them run wild with some other furry friends, dogs love interacting and playing with other dogs, this will tire them out and leave them sleeping happily that night, dreaming about the great day they just day.

Don’t forget to give your dog lots of cuddles. Walks, snuggles, and treats will make for a happy pooch.

We love our dogs like family, so we should treat them the same as we’d treat everyone else we love. Buy them a gift, bake them a cake, and shower them with attention!

Happy birthday, puppy!
