Introduction to Small Dog Breeds

When it comes to small dog breeds, many of us picture adorable companions that fit perfectly in our laps. Small dogs can pack a big personality into their tiny frames. However, not all little furballs are created equal regarding obedience. Some may be more headstrong than others, making them a delightful challenge for experienced owners. Below we’ll explore the least obedient small . Let’s get started.

1. Chihuahuas

The Chihuahua is a feisty little companion known for their big personalities. They are bold, feisty and renowned for challenging authority. Chihuahuas have a mind of their own, making training a challenge at times. Their stubbornness can also make training sessions quite the adventure.

2. Pomeranians

Pomeranians are known for being curious, smart, energetic, bold and feisty. Generally, they are a very playful small dog breed that loves to be grab attention. While they are great pets for families, their disobedient nature doesn’t make them and ideal pet for children. They can be playful but are stubborn and likely to ignore commends when they aren’t in the mood.

3. French Bulldogs

French Bulldogs are known for their charming demeanor but can be quite wilful. These dogs may decide when they want to listen—and it’s usually not when you need them to! As a result, don’t be fooled by their small stature. They’re social creatures however, they prefer human interaction over structured lessons.

This is another small dog breed that has trouble taking directions. The Shih Tzu is affectionate but frequently distracted by their surroundings, leading to selective hearing during training sessions. The charming pups will be playful but can also be notoriously strong-willed. Their affectionate nature doesn’t always translate to obedience during training.

It’s worth noting that while the above small dog breeds tend to be disobedient, this shouldn’t be mistaken to mean they can’t be trained. You just need some more patience, creativity and consistency.
