Deployed Soldier Send His Shirt To His Dog

Deployed Soldier Send His Shirt To His Dog

Joseph McNair April 25, 2024

Rachel and JD Aument like to share their home with their beloved pets. When they saw a dog named Brindle at one of the local shelters, they just felt he belonged with them. They already had a dog named Xavier, who was very attached to Rachel. So, somehow, it came naturally that JD became Brindle’s human daddy.

Brindle loved his new home and JD a bit more than Rachel. The loving dog followed his daddy every step of the way, so he became unfortunate when JD traveled overseas. Bridle almost could feel that JD would leave him. He wasn’t in the mood to run around, play, or even go for walks.
He would sit in one corner and suffer for his human best friend. Rachel thought the dog would improve after some time, but things only worsened daily. Brindle felt very lonely and betrayed, so he even refused to eat. The poor dogy didn’t know that his owner would return home after his service and that he never stopped loving him.
JD was aware of the mod of his dog, but there was not much he could do. But then, JD came up with a fantastic idea of how to make Brindle happy. He mailed one of his smelly shirts back home. He was right that Brindle would recognize his smell. Rachel placed the shirt on the floor, and Brindle started sniffing it.pet, happy, smile

Oh, boy, how excited he was! He couldn’t stop running around and rubbing his face onto it. That was a moment to remember, and Rachel took her phone out and filmed the whole thing. JD was moved to tears when he saw it.
A couple of months later, Brindle and JD finally reunited. It was very touching.

Thanx Rach Almind for sharing a video about this story.
