Dog Can’t Contain Excitement When She Runs Around In A Wheelchair For The First Time

Dog Can’t Contain Excitement When She Runs Around In A Wheelchair For The First Time

How far can you go just to give your pet dogs the best life? As fur parents, we want to offer the best things for our fur babies. They may not be real human babies, but we love and cherish them like they are one.

Just like humans, some pet dogs have special needs. Whether they are sick or paralyzed, they would need special attention so they would still get to live like any normal pet.

Meet Pigeon, an adorable dog who is paralyzed in the hind legs. According to the vet, the pup’s previous owners left her at the shelter after a car accident that injured her back and paralyzed her two legs. But thankfully, there are people like Erica, Pigeon’s present owner,  who accepted the pooch’s condition wholeheartedly.

Erica adopted Pigeon wholeheartedly and did her best to give the pooch the best life she could. For a paralyzed dog, the wheelchair was the best solution, but it didn’t come as easily. At first, Pigeon’s wounds prevented her from using a dog wheelchair. So they had to wait for the wounds to heal first.

At last, the day came for Pigeon to try out her new wheelchair which Erica got from Eddie’s Wheels for Pets. When Erica first introduced the wheelchair, Pigeon was puzzled by what it was supposed to do. But Erica patiently taught the dog one step at a time until she knew how to use the wheelchair on her own.

As seen in the heartwarming video, you can sense her excitement by the way she runs around using the wheelchair! She can now catch up and run as fast as her doggie friends.  She has fallen in love with her new wheelchair and she also acts as if it is really a part of her body.

Don’t you love happy endings? The wheelchair has been a life-changer and now, Pigeon has been given a second chance to live her best life.
